How Big Is God’s Church and Is the Lord Calling Everyone Now?

God’s church is a small church.

Jesus taught here on earth for three and one half years. Many believed on Him but they all turned back except for about one hundred and twenty disciples.

Acts 1:15: “And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)”

God’s church consists of the ones who have His Holy Spirit in them no matter where they are.

Many are called but few are chosen.

Matthew 22:14: “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Matthew 20:16: “So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.”

Matthew 7:14: “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

The Pharisees and the Sadducees were the two main religious groups in Jesus’ time. The Christians were a very small group in comparison.

God’s church today is very small compared to the Catholic Church and other churches which evolved from the Catholic Church.

Many of today’s ministers are ministers of Satan and are deceiving many.

Matthew 7:15: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

II Corinthians 11:14-15

14 “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

15 “Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

Jesus sows the good seed which are the children of the kingdom and Satan sows the seed of tares (false grain).

Matthew 13:37-43

37 “He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;”

38 “The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;”

39 “The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.”

40 “As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.”

41 “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;”

42 “And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

43 “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

Tares: Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible #2215 – darnel or false grain.

Tares are the children of Satan.

Is The Lord Calling Everyone Now?

No. The Lord is not calling everyone now. Jesus tells us the Father is calling many, but not all.

Matthew 20:16, “So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.”

Matthew 22:14, “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Acts 2:39, ” For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”

The ones who are saved are called and chosen.

John 6:44, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Revelation 17:14, These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

I Corinthians 1:26, “For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:”

You cannot come to the Father any time you want. He has to draw you.

Romans 9:15-16

15 “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

16 “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”

Everyone is not being called now.

Only the Elect are being called now and the elect will rule with Jesus Christ as joint heirs.

Romans 11:7-8

7 “What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.”

8 “(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.”

Romans 8:17, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

In the World Tomorrow, everyone who has not been called concerning their salvation will have to confess or deny Jesus Christ.

This will occur during the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles.

Leviticus 23:33-44

33 “And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,”

34 “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord.”

35 “On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.”

36 “Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.”

37 “These are the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:”

38 “Beside the sabbaths of the Lord, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the Lord.”

39 “Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.”

40 “And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.”

41 “And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.”

42 “Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:”

43 “That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”

44 “And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the Lord.”

Study Leviticus 23.

John 7:37-38

37 “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.”

38 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

There is more than one resurrection.

Revelation 20:5-6

5 “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”

6 “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

The Valley of Bones in Ezekiel 37 shows us that all Israel will be brought back to life.

Israel and Judah will come back together, and David will rule over them.
